What's not so great: price - maybe, but as part of the overall package well worth it
Was looking for a solution for a 5.1 setup in a room with little ability to get wires to the back. Invested in the whole Sonos setup (soundbar, Play 1s, Sub and bridge). Couldn't be happier and initially was very skeptical.
Would absolutely recommend to anyone! Great products, good sound and easy setup. What more could you be looking for?

What's great about it: sound, ability to play music
What's not so great: only optical, would like more L/R separation
but it is a soundbar after all. nice solution for surround when tough to get wires to back. have paired with sub and play 1s for the rear channel

What's great about it: gaming
What's not so great: media hub features, no support for dolby digital 5.1
Strong system for next gen gaming but quirks still unresolved for some of the media hub features - i.e. voice control for on/off and support for dolby digital 5.1 not present at the current time.

What's great about it: Knowledgable and timely
What's not so great: Ultimately could not find reasonable solution for wiring but did recommend potential alternatives
Two Geek Squad members can to house for consultation and were very knowledgeable and professional. They answered all my questions and spent a reasonable amount of time at the house to try and determine potential solutions. They were on time and called the morning of the visit to confirm. Prompt follow up on estimate and easy to get scheduled.
Ultimately could not provide wiring solution but did recommed alternatives that may be feasible.
Nothing more expected.

What's great about it: Solid controller with small improvements - not sure there was a need for huge changes.
What's not so great: Nothing at this time
Great controller. Seems very similar to previous controller - but there wasn't a need for huge improvement. Thumbsticks seem improved and less prone to inadvertent slips. Need to wait a bit longer to determine if there any issues with durability.

Does the Sonos soundbar come with the optical cord?
Yes. Comes with optical cable but length and thickness may be an issue. Can definitely get started with what is included.
