The fridge is just OK. The freezer only works if the cooling is set to maximum, at med setting, everything in the freezer thaws and melts.
So I have to keep it at high at all times and at that setting, the stuff at the back of the fridge gets extremely cold, sometimes almost freezes and the stuff in the door is not cooled as much. I am contemplating returning it.

My challenge / problem statement - I was unable to get the ATT router to broadcast my 1 Gig signal to all corners of a tiny 1100 sqft apartment.
What i did - Bought this Nighhawk expecting magic
What i got - Got a noticeable improvement in coverage and performance, but did not get the magic I hoped for. Hardwired, i was able to get close to 900 Meg. On Wifi, I was able to get close to 500 Meg (the ATT was able to not do beyond 200 MEg)
Pros -
Looks impressive
Good LED indicators
Flexible Antennae
Good throughput
Good Netgear software and decent interface

THe Macbook pro has always been the best laptop make in the market, in terms of speed, style, performance, battery life & security.
I chose the older generation MBP since I still want the availability of HDMI, Card reader, USB ports, with the need for an adaptor.
If you plan to keep this for device for the next 4-5 years, I would suggest getting the 16 Gig RAM model with at least 512 GB.

It is not easy to upgrade the SSD (its 649$ for the OWC 1 TB HDD) and the RAM is non upgradable.
I bought the 8 Gig 256 GB SSD model thinking that it would be enough for my needs - It absolutely is. But I expanded the scope of my work by using this Mac for running Windows VMs and Gopro video editing etc, NOW, I feel I should have gone for more.
Its the best laptop there is nevertheless and I would highly recommend it against any Windows junk available out there.

The audio on these is very good, pretty Bose like. The fit is decent but feels uncomfortably like your ears are completely plugged. Not sure about others, but I am not comfortable with hearing my voice echoing inside my head.
The battery on these is just the worst, last close to about 3 hours max.
With the flaws they have, they are not worth 150$

What typically remains in same range is the resolution, contrast ratio, refresh rate etc
In the overcrowded world of lcd/led monitors, this is on of the best ones.
I have owned three HD displays for my PC/Mac. The Benq 24", AOC 27", and this HP 27".
The good things about this HP 27" LED monitor
1. Its gorgeous, extremely slim, has a very minimalist base
2. The controls are ok, has hidden buttons below the panel
3. 2 HDMI ports, 1 VGA Port
The not so good - the control buttons do not have any markings, so you just need to play around and figure out
Apart from that, I have not observed any flaw with this monitor. It works great, easy on the eyes looks pretty.
Highly recommended. PS - its better than my AOC 27". Pls pardon the photo quality, they are feom an ipad.
