Good against drops but landing on the corner us iffy. Decent for the price but doesn't protect against dropping it in water.

Keyboard is not designed like a standard keyboard layout. At times the keys are pressed but the letters are not sent to my tablet. I went with the case keyboard combo but I am second guessing that decision now.

Superb clarity during gaming, video, and music playback. Excellent battery life to allow for long game sessions. It brings to life many sounds you do not pickup on using normal speakers or headphones. Surround sound is perfect for gaming and movies.

Great product but the MOVE feature does not work well. I moved around for hours and the device still tells me I have not moved in at least two hours; yet, somehow I accumulated over 1,000 steps. The device is fairly accurate although it does miss steps for people who do not swing their arms while walking. While driving in my car for a couple hours I accumulated over 2,000 steps, I guess the bumps in the road counted as steps. More apps need to pull data from the device. Fortunately, the device works pretty good because the Garmin customer support is a joke; they do not listen or read what you write in your complaints about the product.
Some people complained about the battery life, but mine lasts over two weeks. Just make sure you use the Bluetooth only when you need to sync the device. I sync just before I go to bed. If you force the device into sleep mode, remember to wake it up in the morning when you get up. The device does not recognize your walking movement as you being awake so you have to take it out of sleep mode manually. I use Wii Fit sometimes to change up my routine but there is no way for me to enter the calories burned manually. The Connect program should have a method to manually enter calories burned during an exercise, unless I just have not found it yet.

Product Reject

I've only owned my Vivosmart since mid-October and already the screen seems to be cut off as well as lines running through some of the characters. Is this covered under warranty? If so, how would I go about getting my vivosmart sent in for repair?
I had the same problem and returned mine for a replacement through Garmin. So far the second one is working correctly.

Stand Alone Tracker?

Is the Vivosmart able to track sleep, steps, have functional clock, etc and operate as normal without being linked to the smart phone ? Say I go swimming or mud run for 5hrs or so, could i reconnect to my cell later and still have all the data be capture from my exercise and uploaded via bluetooth? If so how long can the Vivosmart band store activity before needing to link up?
Yes, you can. Actually, it is better for your battery life to sync two or three times a day and keep the bluetooth off when not syncing.
