I bought this on sale and consider it a good deal. It uses a usb dongle for the wireless connection, and required absolutely no adjustment from me - just plug in dongle and turn on mouse. Buttons work normally and the scroll wheel is fine. A good, basic, no frills mouse for a decent price.
I ended up buying a second one since my wife liked my first one so much.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is what I would call a full size mouse rather than the mini-mice that some choose for their laptop.
The scrolling and movement are smooth and the mouse is nice and light. The batteries haven't needed replacement yet and we have been using it daily for 3 months. It is actually for my wife and she says she is really enjoying it. I didn't give it 5 starts since I don't think any device deserves a perfect score unless it pays for itself. With that said, I would recommend this mouse.

What's great about it: Worked immediately with my Mac. Just plug in the dongle to the USB port and go.
What's not so great: A bit boring in the color department and somewhat clunky in shape.
The mouse works just fine. The wireless connection to the USB dongle is solid and I haven't experienced any skipping or hesitations yet. It even came with batteries - something most mice no longer come with. It won't win any fashion prizes as it is plain gray and somewhat boxy, but who will see that while you use it anyway.

Epson printing inks are good quality, but they make you pay exorbitantly for small amounts that don't last very long. Maybe all inkjet s are like this?
I plan on switching brands once this printer wears out, and hopefully invest in a system where the ink price is easier on the pocketbook.

What's great about it: Can finally use all the outlets
What's not so great: A bit pricey
For far too long I have used surge protectors with 5 outlets only to find that only 2 or 3 of them can be used when power blocks and transformers block some of them. With its ability to twist around it can handle odd or bulky plugs easier than the traditional, straight power strip.
I can't really gauge reliability or protection as of yet since my house hasn't experienced a power surge that I know of. For that reason I took off one star.
The price was a little higher than I wanted to pay, but not exorbitant.

What's great about it: Lifetime maps
What's not so great: Some functions slow
This is my third Garmin GPS and I finally wised up and purchased one with lifetime map updates. Most of the lower priced devices have map updates for one year after activation, and that was all I could really afford at the time. They also had fairly small screens. This 5 inch screen is easy to read at a glance and the lane guide is useful when taking exits.
I haven't tried the traffic update feature since I don't live in an area with traffic jams or lots of highway construction.
I took off a star since some functions take more time to load than on my previous garmins. For example - the address entering function takes 10 to 15 seconds to open the window. After it opens, it is quick and responsive. Another small quirk is the lack of a save option after the address is entered. My other garmins (with older operating systems) had this handy feature, but this newer system requires you to go to the 'Information' button to access the save menu. It's not that big a difference, but requires another step.
One big plus is that Garmin finally updated their syncing software and computer even notifies me when updates are available for the GPS.
All this for the low price of $125 made it a great deal.

Which mouse will work best at about 12 feet away from the computer?
A USB wireless mouse, which has a dongle you plug into a USB port, will usually work more consistently when moved away from the computer compared to a bluetooth mouse which usually needs to be fairly close to the computer to stay connected.
Try a wireless USB mouse if distance is important. Logitech is a good brand, but plenty of other brands make good mice too.

What is the difference between a blue tooth and a digital optical mouse?

A USB wireless mouse has a small USB dongle (small device like a flash drive) that you plug into one of your USB ports and it then communicates to your wireless mouse up to 20ft or 30ft or whatever distance your mouse can reach. A bluetooth mouse doesn't need a dongle to communicate with your computer if your computer has bluetooth. The dongle is built in already. You just have to pair the mouse to the computer and they will work together. The disadvantage with the bluetooth as opposed to the wireless USB is that bluetooth devices usually won't keep connected when more than about 10 to 15 feet from the computer.

does this mouse work with a macbook pro?
Definitely yes! That is what mine is attached to right now. But you know, any USB mouse will work with both macs and pc's now. I haven't found a USB mouse that wouldn't work.
