I picked this up for my mother as she had an old Netgear box that was slow to respond and did not have SlingTV (She wanted food network). It works well and has many features. If I needed one of these I do not think I was be displeased at all. All that being said my mother has troubles as she does not use Amazon Prime and the search does not seem to parse all installed services like Netflix and Hulu so she is always complaining that she can't watch movies without paying for them. I have explained she needs to search within Netflix and not use the main search at the home menu but being low tech level she does not seem to get that and gets frustrated.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The USB on this has a good high AMP rating and charges any device very fast. I am always pleased with Dynex quality and this device does not change that.

I picked up one of these for the wife and a Microsoft Arc for me. I setup hers then setup mine. Long story short I returned the MS mouse and picked up another one for my wife after I stole hers. Great quality, size is small but not too small.

Microsoft has done a great job with the new Surface Pro line of devices. After purchasing this device my opinion that Windows 8 was really made for a touch display was confirmed. The system is fast and easy to use. It is every bit as good as any non gaming laptop on the market. I would suggest proceeding with caution if you are buying it to game as most of the games will run only on low settings due to Intel HD video card. Also note the fan will kick on and does get louder than expected if you push it harder than basic use.

Tried a couple of esata drives with my Mediacom cable box and none seemed to work. I read conflicting reports online that many cable companies disable the esata port. I picked this up at Best Buy and it works great. Very happy I could find a way to extend the low default storage on my box.

What's great about it: Fast, easy to setup, lots of bonus items in the package
Very impressed with this device. The package was well put together and came with an external drive kit, Kingston screwdriver, all needed cables and screws, 2.5>3.5 bay adaptor, and Acronis software. Great drive with everything a person could need.

Is this drive available in a larger size
Is this drive available in a larger size, like 2 or 3 TB?
I have not found one. I would expect that the next gen box will be USB 3.0 and this will be obsolete but that's just speculation.
