We bought this microwave for two reasons. First: as a backup while our built-in unit was out of service (part had to be ordered). Second: our college sophomore needs a microwave for his apartment this fall. For the money, I think this is a great value. It's powerful, easy to operate and has the all-important turntable so things cook evenly. Although it's mid-size, it doesn't take up too much room, which will be important in a counter-space-challenged college apartment. Overall, great buy!

under the heading - WHATS INCLUDED - what is a glass tray, roller guide

It's the round glass turntable that allows you food to rotate while cooking, which insures more even cooking. The roller guide fits under the glass tray to allow it to rotate.
