I've been using this set for 3 months now. I work from home, so I'm on it for 8-9 hours per day. No issues thus far; it's been excellent.

can I use this wireless keyboard with a laptop (windows 7)?

Yes, I have mine set-up with a laptop. Works fine. The small sensor is great; I don't have to remove it when I pack up my laptop for the road.
