very easy to carry and use, takes great pictures. You don't have to be a pro,and wi-fi works as expected.

Does what its designed for. Holds about 400 photos RAW, and about 700 in FINE. It's a little slow.

Decent bag for a camera, not designed for the D5300. Will fit two small lenses and the camera(barely). Not ease to open/close.

This camara is really takes very sharp, detail pictures. No matter what situation, or how fast the subject is moving pictures are clear, and crisp. I took 400 pictures with it and still had plenty of power left. Best camara I've had.

What is the best SD card?

What is the best SD card for a Canon Rebel T51. For uses of taking pictures of a variety of subject (landscape, animals, toddlers) and taking videos. All in different lighting.
Sandisk - Extreme Pro 32gb Sdhc Memory Card - Black/red. There's a newer model "the plus pro" you might want to go 80gb+ since you're using it for video.

A senior (84 years) wants a camera that works only in "auto" (like a smart phone camera) Will this work that way or do you have something very simple

He just wants to take pictures.

How do I know when you answer this question?
This camara will do that in automode, zooming is nice if you want to bring the shot closer. Pictures look nice, too.

Comparison between the D5300 and the d5500

The both take great pictures and,wifi. The big difference D5500 does not have GPS built-in and it is a bit too small for me( also lighter). It has touch screen( it get nasty with fingerprints) and lastly it does have higher shutter speed, some like the grip better.

Is this card compatible with the Nikon D5100?

My current card is a PNY High Performance 16gb 30MB/s and I occasionally get a random gray screen amongst my pictures. I'm wondering if getting a higher MB/s, might solve this problem. Anyone have any input?
