This router does exactly what it needs to do. I very much like that it comes with three 3 bands to use. My Smart TV is for the media band and normal internet usage for me and roommate is the norm band. The guest band is practically never used. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's range is limited. I will admit I live in an apartment that has concrete walls but it's only about 1400 sq. feet and I can't get all bars at the other end of the apartment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This tiny little modem does exactly what it's supposed to, and is perfectly priced. Way cheaper to have your own modem then to lease out from Xfinity.

What does Dual Band mean?

Not to be a techno flunky, what does dual band really mean?
It pretty much means you can have 3 separate wi-fi networks to sign in to. I personally have my Smart TV using one of the wi-fi networks, one is a guest network and the third is the one me and my roommate sign into to browse the internet on. Hope this answered your question!
