What's great about it: Super fast, no dropped connection
What's not so great: a bit pricey
Bought this to upgrade my 5yr old netgear router. It's a bit pricey, but it's REALLY worth it. I have had ZERO connectivity issues and I now get a consistent 55Mb when tested on comcast or speedtest.net. before i was only getting 15M. Great difference. I thought it was comcast problem, but I just needed a faster router to link up with my new macbook and now it's blazing away. super easy to set up there's even an iphone app to monitor it remotely!
This product has... Fast connection, Dual band, Reliable connection

For comcast

Do I need a cable modem before I purchase this router?
Yes, either from your internet provider or buy your own. I recommend the Motorola SB6141. It's about $90 at Target or BB. You just call them and give them the # off it and they activate it. If you get one from comcast or whoever you have to rent it at $8/month.
