This computer was an impulse buy which I felt guilty about before I got in the car. The price was excellent AND it came with Windows. I know the quality of toshiba, but I didn't research this item. I was very pleasantly surprised at the performance, convenient size. It's perfect for moat of the things I do on the Internet and word processing.

Do you find it difficult to use without a cd/dvd writer?

I am used to archiving photos and videos on cd/dvd discs. Also, i would like to install Microsoft Office which i have on cd.

I thought i would, but no, not really... you will need to use flash drives or you could always get an external cd/DVD drive to use when you need it
