Chromecast is all right. You'll get a better picture by using your built-in applications, if you have a smart TV. The default screen is better than others, you can get art or news headlines or Google Earth images that swap out at varying intervals.
Use your phone to control Netflix is convenient, but frequently the phone will disconnect while the video keeps playing, which can be a pain if you need to pause. Overall good.
