Really nice 55". I'd purchase it again. I use it as digital signage for my trade show booth. Perfect for that, and I could see it easily installed in a bedroom of my home. Do I want it as my main TV, no, but that is because it does lack the clarity in the blacks that other models accel at. Definitely consider this TV if you're making the move into the digital TV world. Perfect unit to get you over the hump...

Logitech - Harmony Smart Control (Remote Control and Smart Hub) - Black
This Logitech Harmony 915-000194 smart control lets you use your compatible Apple® iPhone®, iPod® touch or iPad® or Android device to control up to 8 components for simple, multifunction use.
Can I use the remote to program in different ways 2 tv's with two separate setups?
The short answer is yes.
The long answer is that it will be terribly convoluted. I'd buy a second smart control box and set it up in the second room. You can use the app to switch between rooms.
If you do use one system for both rooms, you'll have to probably have extensions and a second IR blaster from the main unit. As an integrator, I'd advise against using this method because the delay/lag between remote commands will be greatly increased.
