Great dji quality guards, but require mounting with screws. It does not fit into the carrying case with prop guards attached so I would have had to install/uninstall each time or leave out of the case. Deal breaker for me, so I returned.

Purchased this after doing extensive research online. Looked @ many reviews and websites. Beltronics & Escort are the same company. Both have great reputations. Unless you need the few Xtra bells & whistles a Valentine 1 or Passport 360 provide, the 9500 IX offers an excellent value & reliability for a fraction of the price. Remember, you do get what you pay for, so I wouldn't recommend sub 250.00 detectors. (My experience was that they are junk & money flushed!) However, I've found this unit to be very accurate so far. And one ticket will cost you all of the detector cost (or more)!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great quality Ink and best all around value price in my area. Could not find the Xtra capacity packages except in black @ my store so had to settle for the standard size cartridges. Still a good value...

can police detect this device when I drive the car?
If you have it on and If they have vg2 detection systems in the cruisers, yes they can. In areas where detectors are illegal (i.e. VA, DC, etc.) I know they have the systems. (I was once young, foolish & naive when in VA. Found out the hard way. I was just passing through the state & fortunately the State Trooper was decent & didn't confiscate the detector, which he legally could have. Just made me lock it in the trunk...

What color display is this unit?

As stated above, what color would you be purchasing? I know it comes in blue and red, but I don't see where it says which one this is. I'd honestly like the blue, but can't tell if it's blue or red. Thanks in advance!
Website said the same thing. Packaging didnt indicate secifics either. My actual unit displays in blue. Not sure why this is....
