I have been using this mouse/keyboard combo at work for over a year and love it. The keyboard has a standard, full-size layout and the keys are responsive. I'm pretty hard on keyboards and this one has held up well. The batteries lasted about a year with usage of about 8-10 hours per day. The mouse is a full-size mouse and it easy to use. The batteries lasted about 6 months with usage of about 8-10 hours per day. I like this product so much, I purchased it for my home computer as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this normal for my mouse?

The mouse that is advertised in here shows it having a small light shining out of it on top of the mouse but my mouse doesn't have that or show that at least....Is that normal
No light on the mouse.

What Model is the Mouse? Does the wheel spin freely?

Specs don't mention the model of the mouse. I love the simple Logitech M325 mouse I am using. My husband just bought a (different) keyboard/mouse combo and the wheel on the mouse it came with doesn't spin - it kind of roughly click-click-clicks along; not easy to quickly go from the top of a page down without having to use the scroll bar. Thanks.
The mouse is model M310. The wheel does not spin freely. It has a soft click as you scroll. I have used other mice that have a very hard (an sometimes audible) click, but this mouse wheel spins more freely that that. This mouse wheel can easily and efficiently be used to scroll from top to bottom of a long page of text.

Can you use this just for charging devices like phones and portable chargers?

Is it 3 amps per port?
It will not charge an iPad. I'm not sure about charging a phone.

how long is the USB cord

I am surprised that the specs don't say how long the USB cord is that is supplied.
The USB cord is 18" long.
