Easy to install, good sounding. Handles power well, good bass, clear highs. Very articulate for the money. Definitely mount them with something soft behind them, like windshield tape (sticky rubber stuff about 3/8" in diameter), or window sealer tape. It really tightens up the low end.

If you are like me, you do everything manually to make sure it is right.
Had issues with setting up a static DNS and DHCP wan. Turns out the dns gets put into the local settings, and there is no doc on this. However, a lengthy chat on the linksys got the problem solved. The tech wa very pushy about trying to sell some thing where you could
have a better warrantee. I turned it down, always bet with the house.

Best Buy guy told me I could use it for a wireless access point with my other Linksys router. He was wrong, it does not pass through the security. Plus it is only 2.5 g. Watch those 'experts' that know very little.
It does work as a cheap router, I will save it in case one of my good ones breaks as a temp. Does have guest access.

Why is this router throttling my data?
If I run a speed test through my modem, I get 100+mbps download. If I run a test through the ethernet port on my router, I can't get above 20mbps. Firmware is up to date and it is the only device on the network. Please help.

what is the difference between a dsl and a ehthernet connection
DSL is an slow, old, fashioned telephone company internet connection.
Ethernet is the inside connection that you use to connect computers, printers, switches, routers, TV's, etc. together.
