How does this camera perform at indoor concerts?

I am an avid concert enthusiast and love taking pictures at concerts with all the special effects. How well does this camera take pictures with special effects, strobes, bright lights, etc? Does it adjust with no flash? I am also a novice so I use the auto modes a lot.
Its a great camera. You can take really beautiful pictures. I am still learning how to use it, but I think it would impress you.
