I thought this was the Blu Ray and DVD Combo but it wasnt. I was purchasing this for my son because he wanted it, but it wasn't the correct version for us.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This Sony DVPSR210P DVD player features progressive scan for a crisp, smooth picture and built-in Dolby Digital and DTS decoders for quality audio.

How to connect to cable box

I'm trying to connect this DVD player (Model: DVPSR210P) to my Cox Cable box. I cannot get it configured and don't know what I'm doing wrong. I assumed that it would connect to the cable box versus the TV as TV is a new model (bought 3 months ago) and it doesn't have all the coordinating plug ins (only has white and red on the side of the TV) The instructions are GREATLY lacking! I even downloaded additional hook up info from Sony and still can't crack this! PLEASE HELP or this has got to go back. :(

You have to make sure you have your tv on the correct output channel. Ex) game,av 1, av 2, etc. Also if your running it through cable box you need to make sure you go through the menu for that as well and make sure your on the correct option for that as well and also obviously you need to make sure the cable is powered on since your using it to run DVD player.
