I was a former owner of an Apple Watch Sport. I liked the watched, but it had too many features that I did not use nor need (e.g. receiving notifications, all the apps...). I wanted to downsize to something that included GPS, would track my workouts with maps, count steps, and provide me with detailed feedback on my runs. I read reviews of several watches and found that this Garmin watch would meet my needs the best.
PROS:
- The battery life is amazing. I charge it once every 8 or 9 days. I do 3-4 runs a week and the battery has yet to run out in under a week. Today I charged it after 10 days and it was still at ~20% capacity. That's amazing!
- It's waterproof. I don't have to take it off when I take a shower.
- It counts steps accurately.
- It finds GPS signal quickly.
- The Garmin Connect app is great. It was easy to sync with and it updates my data between the watch and the app often. It shows tons of data (heart rate, weight, runs, calories, steps, sleep...) and you can customize what data you want to see.
- It tracks your sleep and HR.
- When running you can change the screen on your watch to show you data about your current run, data about your current lap (I love this!), your HR, your HR zone, or you can make a custom screen with several data points on it.
- You can join challenges with other people.
- You can sync with MyFitnessPal
- It can receive notifications from your phone. It would let me know when I received a text or call. I disabled this feature cause I didn't need it.
- It has a move alert: if you've been inactive for too long, it'll buzz/beep at you to get moving.
There is so much I love about this watch. I rarely take it off and it's been so much more motivating to me to improve my running.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this TV to replace a 10 year old 32" TV we had. The TV setup was as easy as can be. I was skeptical of the remote at first. It's small and has hardly any buttons on it. But, after using the TV for a week, it made sense why the remote design works. I love how the start screen shows your available apps/channels and gives you a preview of anything plugged into the TV (e.g. our cable box, XBOX).
The only negative I have is the the placement of the HDMI inputs. They're near the edge of the TV and the cable sticks out a bit as a result. Also, the salesman at Best Buy seemed irritated that I was buying this tv rather than a more expensive one. He said the sound quality is bad (it's not) and that a 4K HDMI cable was required (uh, no, it's not).

I use this as an external monitor for my MacBook (12"). The picture is extremely crisp, clear, and in high definition. I haven't had any problems with the monitor after 3 months of use. At first the screen seemed too big but I've come to enjoy it quite a bit!

Use the convenient controls of this wireless presenter to help you make your point. Intuitive buttons are easy to find by touch and feel great in your hand for better control. Laser pointer allows your audience to see exactly what you're pointing to. The 2.4 GHz wireless allows you to enjoy the freedom to move around the room and mingle with your audience for greater impact. Battery indicator lets you know how much power is available with just a glance. Plug-and-play wireless receiver requires no additional software to install.

I purchased this so I could move away from my computer while presenting. I use a MacBook (12") and a MacBook Air (13"). The remote works well with both, including the buttons to start the presentation and make the screen go blank. The red laser is helpful, but is pretty weak when there is bright light in the room.

Will the GPS and heart rate monitor work without the phone?

Yes. Both features are independent of the phone. I've taken many runs without my phone and it has zero impact on GPS and HR. Your phone is only needed if you want to sync data between the watch and the phone app. You can also sync data between Garmin Connect online and your watch without your phone.

Does this watch require a chest strap?

No. The watch does not require a chest strap. It tracks your heart rate using a light on the underside of the watch.

Is there anyway to turn the tv on if the remote is lost or broken? I have no buttons on any part of the tv and didn't realize when purchasing otherwise I wouldn't have!

I have this TV. The buttons are located on the lower left side by the HDMI inputs.

will the laser pointer red dot be visible on an electronic screen such as a large screen TV

The laser does not show up well on screens with a backlight (e.g. a TV). It does work well with screens that are projected on. I've tried it on both and have had much better success with a projection on a screen.
