What's great about it: fast and love the ezel screen
What's not so great: doesn't come in 17 inch or bigger
First I bought an out of box R7 but it was the previous model 571 which lags, and has known wifi problems. Took it back in, was offered an immediate refund but I asked to speak to the manager since I didn't want to loose the good discount on the open box price. The manager immediately sat down. Did some comparisons on line and researched the problems I mentioned and gave me the out of box price for this new model. KUDOS for helping me out. This store has very knowledgeable and friendly staff that takes their time whenever I go in. This laptop just speeds through everything. No waiting for websites to load.. super easy to use. I ADORE THE EZEL ASPECT... love the keyboard up front and track pad in the back.. wonderful value,, couldn't be more pleased. Amazing sound!! My three kids with dwarfism find this very easy to use instead of reaching to the back of the laptop to type.. Acer rocked this one!!
This product is... Good sound quality, A touch pad that works great, Perfect for Business, Big screen size, easy to set up, lightning fast, ezel screen rocks

Does this model have the small SSD to help boot faster like the last model?

I bought the previous model (571) about a month ago, which has a 24 gig SSD. It boots super fast. Does the new model come with this as well? I don't see it on the specs.

Also, to those who are complaining about the wireless issues, I have had zero problems with wireless on my 571 model, and that includes using my computer on my college's horrible internet service. I get the same speeds as other computers using the same internet. I highly doubt I was the only one to get one that worked. It is more likely that just a small percentage didn't work (there are always bad eggs in a batch) and/or those who had problems just had bad internet.
The Wifi problems and lagging speeds were widely known on the 571, I just returned one for the 572 and it is a world of difference.. for 50 extra dollars it should be a no brainer..

Will the acer r7 572 i7 be available at best buy before christmas?

When will the R7-572 with i7 be available at best buy?
