I was very happy with the card and the price .the card was working great then, suddenly my computer couldn't recognize it , I tried formating it put nothing works now I'm just stuck with a card that don't work qnd can't be fixed or detected so bummed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does this work with the $50 kindle fire

Yes it should but if I was u I would try a different brand, it failed on me only after a few days
