What's great about it: easy to set up and use
What's not so great: not many items stream netflix had a lag
I got it so that i wouldn't have to take my apple TV with me on vacation and i was not able to get the use out of it that i wanted, in order to stream my movies i had to use my laptop with Google chrome to play an MP4 file. Netflix never worked it always gave me an error, I ended up using my MacBook and iPad, I was only able to get YouTube to work. although it cost more, i will take the Apple TV over this Chrome cast.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: small and compact
Needed something to put my images in from my iPhone, and this was the perfect thing , I had about 8 GB of images and this was more than enough for that and then some... the size makes it so that i can store it easily and get back to it when i can, leaving me with free space on my phone and no clutter in my drawer

About me... Budget Conscious, Need a simple backup solution, Need storage for large media files

What's great about it: Easy to use magnets help
This is better than the old one the magnets seem stronger and it covers the back now

Does this work in Canada

I live in Canada and before I buy this I wanted to make sure I can use it in Canada and get all the programs it says like WatchESPN
The apps go by location, so if you connect to a Canadian network and it does not have he licensing for the content it will not work for you .... I honestly don't think that u can get it to work

Does it work in an HDTV that is not a Smart TV (doesn´t have wifi connection)

Yes, it has its own Wifi Antenna built into it.
