What's great about it: Cheap, works perfectly, cross platform, wireless, HD, energy efficient, self updates, new features added all the time
What's not so great: only works with 2.4 GHz and non-enterprise wifi
This little HDMI dongle fits in my TV and is powered by a spare USB port on my TV's backside. I have never noticed it after installing and I have never needed to tamper with it. It pumps out HD content and allows me to wirelessly connect my phone, tablet, computer to it. I have an iPad, a windows laptop, and an android phone which all utilize the Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu apps. I also have begun using chrome (computer) screencast to show my tab on the computer. I truly think this is the easiest way to put content on the TV and I don't even see a need to have a DVD player anymore. I would go so far as to say I regret purchasing a SmartTV over a normal TV because this little stick does everything I need it to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Notifications, phone calls, appointment reminders, time, long battery life, sleek
What's not so great: A tad bulky still, bad software support, expensive, requires use of proprietary software.
Physical Properties:
This watch is a nicely made watch with gorilla glass 3 and a nice not-plastic feel. The wrist strap is user adjustable and takes only 5-10 seconds for me to adjust it when someone else wants to try it on. The screen is bright enough to read in all conditions and the glass feels nice. The camera is no longer located on the watch band and nicely placed on the top of the bezel.
Battery:
On an average day, the watch will go from 100% to 75% battery, I imagine it lasting 4 days with my heavy usage. It came with a charging dongle and a micro usb wall adapter that charge it in about an hour.
Notifications:
I use Google Hangouts instead of Samsung's built in messages. For my purposes this is great, when I get a text; my watch vibrates a little and shows who sent a message and the first 70 characters or so. From there i can tap the notification to read it in its entirety or tell my phone to show me the message from whatever app it originated from.
Phone:
Phone calling was one of the primary reasons I wanted this watch over other competitors. I like that it is always connected and while driving I don't need to have my phone paired with the car of a cumbersome headset. The volume is adequate although could be louder and my friends are impressed that the sound quality is better than talking through my phone. Being able to reject calls from my watch without taking my phone out is great when I'm on the go or working.
Lock feature:
There's an option to make it so if the watch is out of range of the phone, the phone activates security locks. I like that I don't waste time unlocking my phone anymore, but the security features are there the moment I walk away or I turn off my watch.
Camera:
I don't use the camera ever, but when I tested it out it was clear. There currently is no way to take a picture without the loud shutter sound.
Fitness tracking:
I use the pedometer app, the exercise app, the sleep tracking app. The pedometer is a passive one and the watch silently counts my steps all day, every day. The sleep app I turn on right as i get into bed and off when my alarm clock wakes me up, it tells me how long i was in bed and what percent of that time was spent motionless (assumed actual sleep). The exercise app has four modes, I use the running one where it constantly checks my heartrate, measures distance ran, and tells me if I'm trying hard enough and meeting goals based on my age, weight and fitness goal. These apps all can work standalone but syncing them to an app called "Fitness for Gear" on the phone is where the real numbers are crunched. More on the app later.
Music:
I did not buy the watch for this feature but I found out that the watch can play songs without bluetooth headphones. And the volume through its speaker is loud enough for me to hear it while I'm running outdoors but not so loud that it would annoy people as I pass. For my urban environment, this is great as I don't have my ears covered, increasing my awareness of cars and other dangers. You have to load songs one by one if you're sending them from your phone but you can hook the watch up to your computer and use it as a flash drive to put more songs on it quicker. I wish there was support for playlists.
Operating System:
I do find the OS a little cumbersome and I cannot easily make things appear the way I want without careful manipulation. I got very frustrated moving icons and screens around to get my desired look but am finally happy. Samsung keeps saying that their Tizen platform was have ample support and 3rd party apps. I hate that they made this choice to compete with google. Many core android functions such as hangouts, gmail, google search, google voice commands do not work as well with the watch as the samsung apps. There also are a couple functions greyed out across the system such as "share" in many places. I expect further support and updates to open these functionalities up.
Fitness for Gear:
I use my watch with the Note 3. The note 3 shipped with an app called "S Health" that is samsung based and worked well with the original gear. Samsung seems to no longer support it and now my years worth of pedometer and exercise data is no longer attached with my new Fitness for Gear profile. Also S Health tells me that my gear software is out of date, seems like they completely stopped supporting it. I don't like that the fitness app seems to take so long to sync what must be a couple numbers with my watch. And it reports it to a server but doesn't seem to do anything with the data. I would appreciate if it told me things about my sleep or my hourly pedometer usage in graph form. I truly think that this app in its current state is a step backwards for samsung. S Health was more functional, quick, and looked like a clean app.
Remote Control IR Blaster:
I had no idea that I would actually be using what I thought would be a s dumb gimmick. Turns out it saves me many trips across the room to get the remote. Also in those rare times I don't know where the remote is, I just use this. Of course my Note 3 could have done this too, but having the functionality on my wrist increases convenience.
Cost:
I do find the $300 MSRP price tag quite prohibitive for people. For most, this is more than the cost of their phone (out of pocket). I think this watch would sell well at the $150 point and acceptably high at the $200. They possibly are trying to create a premium market for wearables. I hope this watch for me doesn't come off as a status symbol, but the sticker price does remind tech knowledgeable people that I spent a lot on it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Works seamlessly and does what it says it can
What's not so great: limited device support, short battery life, a tad bulky
This is my first smart watch. I am using it with my Galaxy Note 3 on android 4.4 (KitKat). I use it to tell time, look at texts I get without taking my phone out of my pocket, answer phone calls, screen calls, pedometer for all day. It also comes with calendar appointment, camera, weather features.
I found this device most useful when driving or doing anything else that requires my hands to be doing something else. It allows me to not search for my phone and unlock it just to read a message. The watch also surprised me that it went along with many of my outfits; business, casual, and going out clubbing clothes.
I do catch myself getting worried that I'm going to scuff or scratch the screen every now and then. Also its battery needs to be recharged every day if you don't turn it off at night, 2 days if you do.
I have small wrists and the watch band fit me well with another notch for even tinier people.

Can you post and view your twitter feed on the chrome cast?

This chrome app allows you to cast your live tab to a chromecast that is setup on the same network. I would just set that to your twitter feed and as it updates, it will be viewed on your TV.
