I am going on a long hike that will take around 10 hours. I have read this battery is good for 8 hours in GPS mode. Can I use a portable charger and recharge as I hike? Will it continue tracking while charging?

I have a verizon remote and it was very easy to combine the two systems.

How bad is the glare? Matte screen?
I have not had a problem with glare.
