I had the Google Chromecast but with ALL Apple devices (iPod, iPhones, iPads, iMacs) in the household this made perfect sense. Noe we can mirror anything at all onto the TV. Web, Video, Flickr, etc.
It is easy and seamless.
Chromecast is still good - I moved it to a bedroom TV (non SmartTV) so we have Netflix up there. The price drop made AppleTV a no-brainer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My in-laws moved from a big private house with few neighbours to a condo development with lots of close neighbours. The square footage is similar and the condo is actually tighter (2 stories versus a spread 1) but WI-FI was horrible in dead spots. This device solved the problem rteally well and now the whole house has strong coverage. EASY EASY EASY to set up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

YES!

It will boost wi-fi signal to ANY device that is in range. Your SmartTV is no different to a laptop or iPad - it just needs a better signal.
