What a great purchase. We were using our BlueRay player to stream but the performance was poor and everything took forever to load. We got sick of it and decided to give a Roku a try. After debating between the streaming stick and the 3, we settled on the three. I can't compare the two but we are super happy with the performance of this one. We didn't want to take a chance of having the same slow streaming that we already had so we went with the best on the market.
I would recommend this to a friend!

what is the difference between hulu and hulu plus besides the subscription?

i noticed that the roku 3 has the hulu plus...what is the difference between hulu and hulu plus???..are both offered on the roku 3?....does the hulu plus have everything that the regular hulu has and more???....is it worth getting the plus???????
Hulu is the free website, Hulu plus is the paid programming plus the free stuff. You can get ALL hulu content on the Roku as long as you paid for a Hulu Plus subscription.

I guess it all depends on what you want to get access to for hulu vs hulu plus.
