I have very limited kitchen space and this size works well without having to get only 700 watts of power.

why doesnt the zero button work??

BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 87 YEAR OLD MOTHER WHO LIVES 300 MILES AWAY ..SHE CANT PUT IN 10 MINUTES BECAUSE THE ZERO BUTTON SAY KITCHEN TIMER ON TOP OF BUTTON AND WHEN SHE PRESSES IT TIMER COMES ONNOT THE ZERO SHE NEEDS..CALLED SERVICE DEPT AND THEY SAID THE R-309YK SERIES DOESNT HAVE A BUTTON THAT SAYS KITCHEN TIMER..I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE IT WAS SIMPLE THE PICTURE OF THE CONTROLS DOESNT SHOW KITCHEN TIMER WORDING ABOVE THE ZERO BUTTON..NOT SURE WHATS GOING ON BUT THIS IS NOT THE MICROWAVE PICTURED..WOULD LIKE THE ZERO BUTTON WITHOUT THE KITCHEN TIMER ON IT..
There should be a grid of number 1-9 to the left of the zero button. She needs to press the 1 button then three zeros to get the microwave to run for ten minutes.
