Works fine and had composite output for older crt tvs. However, roku forces owner to register and create account with credit card info. This is horrible and you have to call tech support for workaround.

This device works great with Comcast/Xfinity, it says so on the box. Just plug in all the cables and watch all the leds lit up and you are done. And it is priced below $50. This beats paying Comcast $10/month to rent the exact same cable modem or buy a $200 high end modem that may not do the job as well.

Does this work with att dsl?
I don't think so, ATT dsl uses telephone or cat cables and this cable modem only has 3 connectors on the back, a coax connector, a power connector, and a RJ-45 jack for you to plug into a wireless router or pc.

Will I use my tv like a monitor?
Yes, you can cast your smart phone, pc, tablet, or labtop screen onto the tv screen through the "cast screen" option from the chromecast app that you need to install. It's like screen mirroring on a smart tv, samething.
You can also, change your old flat screen tv (must have hdmi input) into a smart tv and has access to youtube and other apps through the chromecast. Of course you need WIFI installed for all of the above to work.

Does this tv have card slots so you can place your sd cards from your cameras into them and watch?
No, just one usb slot.

What is the distance between the two mounting feet? I want to set this on a 52" wide cabinet.
Just slightly less than 52 inches.
