How is the bluetooth, does it have decent range, any problems?
Bluetooth works fine for me, but I only use it to connect in my car.

It comes with a USB cord. IF you can plug a USB cord into you camera, maybe. I know you can download photos on your computer, raw or otherwise, and then save them to this hard drive.

Is the auto back up software in CD form? Or can I download it?
I am buying a laptop without an internal CD Drive and I won't have access to any sort of CD-based software on that (I'm not willing to buy an external CD Drive). I would like to do the auto backups onto this external hard drive, but it isn't necessary as I could do the manual ones with the usb.
No. You plug it into your USB port on your computer. You can then save items to it as a backup.
