Unlike Apple products and the ones that use the Microsoft Windows Operating System, Samsung uses the android OS. Consequently, you are not a slave to iTunes or other program to operate it in order to move files, photos or music. It is fairly easy to use, comes with a program compatible to Microsoft Office, and the support system by Samsung is excellent - in addition to being free. After owning an iPad and purchasing and returning a Toshiba tablet with Windows 8, I am thrilled with my decision to own a Samsung Galaxy Pro tablet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does this have 3G/4G provision?

I know this tablet doesn't need a data plan. But would I be able to use a data plan if I don't have Wi-fi?
Since it did come equipped with 3G, you will not be able to access the internet wherever there is no wifi. But, that is why you have a cell phone anyway.
