My 90 year old mother has Alzheimer's. A study done for the Alzheimer's Association shows that playing music that means something to the patient seams to increase brain activity. We are trying this with my Mom.

Picture quality
Why was the picture s much crisper in the store the in my own home? There is a big difference. In fact I could have bought a different brand and a lot cheaper then the one I bought. I bought this one because I was mesmerized by the picture and now very disappointed
Have you optimized the settings on the tv? The installers did some optimization on setup, then I talked to DirectTV to make sure we had the correct settings for the HD picture and programs. Sometimes the HDMI cable can cause picture issues as well.

Does this tv come is silver...flat not curved
The base is silver and the screen is flat, not curved.
