The Fitbit One doesn't track the active minutes. Fitbit One tracks movement not time. The Fitbit Alta, which I have, tracks movement and time (active minutes). When you read about Active Time on the Fitbit site, it's not normal movement (walking, gardening, cleaning, doing laundry, etc.) which is given a relative score of 1, but it must be a movement duration over 10 minutes of a relative rating of 3 or better (three time more effort and activity than walking, gardening, etc.). Alta is a better choice for power walkers and runners.
