Great game console--falls short in other areas

What's great about it: Kinect sensor
What's not so great: Limited number of games--no major Halo title at release
It is a great game console, but there are a few drawbacks. It is my understanding that we cannot play Xbox 360 games on this console. I understand that the processors use a different architecture, but figured and emulator of some sort would work. Also, I was hoping I could use my cable box with the Xbox completely turned off (HDMI passthrough). The Xbox has to be on for this to happen--this is simply too many steps for my wife, nor do I want the console running 24/7. I am impressed with the graphics on the game trials I have seen, wish there was a major Halo release though.

What's great about it: Ability to connect to Xbox Gold content
What's not so great: Expensive for casual gamer
These cards are fantastic. I don't always get a chance to play online, so buying a year at a time makes more sense to me. The new Xbox One also allows the Kinect sensor to scan the QR code and automatically enters it for you.

What's great about it: Ability to control all of the equipment behind closed doors
What's not so great: Doesn't include RF
I can control all of my AV equipment with my smartphone! I use it to power a TV and speakers out on my patio and control a cable box that is inside the house. As long as you are connected to the same Wifi network as the device, you can control it from anywhere in the house.

What's great about it: Lots of bells and whistles
What's not so great: Lacking a few standard options that others have
I am really impressed with the sound quality from this receiver, but it is missing a few things that I think should be standard on any receiver of this class. It is the only 4k receiver that doesn't upconvert content. It also doesn't allow you to rename HDMI inputs, and the onscreen guide is simple black and white text. Aside from these quirks, the sound quailty is excellent and it performs well with movies.

I liked almost everything about the soundbar, the problem that exists is that you are forced to use their remote control with it. I like using the Uverse remote to turn everything on/off with one button. This is not the case with this device and a call to Samsung confirmed this. You are able to either turn it on using Samsung's AnyNET or turn it off with HDMI CEC, but you cannot do BOTH! Samsung tells you to contact AT&T for remote codes. It was only after I purchased it that I realized that Dish Network/Uverse/Comcast/DirecTV all have the same problem. The build quality and design was very nice though and put out a lot of bass. I especially liked the ability to stream from your phone using bluetooth.

I used to have the Bose weatherproof 151 speakers. I like the appearance of the Bose, but the bass was lacking. Enter the KHO-7 speakers--the bass is pretty good. Don't expect thundering bass, but going from not having it to having it now is a definite improvement. I would certainly recommend these to a friend.

The subwoofer is fairly light compared to others in this category. It fits nicely next to my TV setup. The bass that comes from the speaker resembles a much larger speaker. I am very happy with this purchase.

Yes, you can use your cable remote control. Look up the remote codes for your cable remote in order to control Samsung products.
