I added the subwoofer to my Sonos system and it has been a very enjoyable addition. It's nice to be able to go into the app and change the level of the subwoofer depending on who or what is being played over the system. I'm considering purchasing another one to enhance the sound system in another area of my home.

I've been changing over my home audio system to Sonos and was originally told that I could not use my existing wired speakers. After a little research, I found out that I could utilize my existing wired speakers via the Sonos Amp. I'm now running my outdoor speakers on one Amp and my 4 wired ceiling mounted speakers via another Sonos Amp. The sound is great and I like the functionality that comes with the app and being able to turn on and off the various zones within the home and change the various volumes in each zones to balance out the sound. I wish the Sonos Amp was more powerful as my speakers can handle more, not like I'd use it though. I also wish the Sonos Amp would allow for more speaker connections and allow for right and left adjustments. I'm still very pleased with the product, but this is why I gave it a 4 rating and not a 5.

What's great about it: Very good sound. It sounds like a concert in the backyard.

What's not so great: Nothing negative to say.

I purchased these speakers for my backyard patio. I had previously purchased an interior surround system from the same manufacturer and was very pleased with their performance.

After hearing the sound from these speakers, I'm very happy with my purchase. I'll spending a lot of time in the pool this summer enjoying listening to my music. It sounds great!

can you connect a wired sub woofer & speakers together

The Sonos Amp has a separate connection for an wired AMP. I'm currently running 4 wired speakers off the main speaker connection and my wired AMP via the separate AMP connection on the same Sonos AMP.

does the amp need to be hard wired to the internet

Does the system need to be hard wired through the ethernet cable?

The Sonos Amp works with a wireless system. Sets up just like the speakers do.
