What's great about it: Everything works as described with excellent picture quality.
What's not so great: Shinny screen is reflective.
I bought this monitor for two reasons. It had several top ratings and was the best value. It works great with Windows 8.1. It functions well and looks great. I did not use the speakers so I can't comment on their quality.

How do you adjust the stand?

I couldn't budge the one in store.
The stand is very stiff when you try to pull it by hand. Once the monitor is set up and the stand set into position a simple push on the top of the monitor easily adjusts the angle. Don't be fooled by the simple design. It works well.
