What's not so great: Not the fastest processor; WINDOWS 8! Bah!
I needed an inexpensive, reasonably featured machine to replace a failing desktop in an office environment. This machine is adequate, but not the fastest machine around. I also despise Windows 8.

when shutting down computer, moniter goes into sleep mode.

our previous monitors would shut down. this monitor has to shut down manually. is there a setting to shut it down automatically.
Look in your Control Panel settings for power and display settings.
