First, this keyboard is super thin, no bulky back to it for holding batteries... the solar charge lasts forever (I use it in my mostly dark office and pop it out in the direct sunlight once a month or so. They keys are responsive and I feel like I type faster and more accurately. It doesn't have any weird key configurations where the CTRL key is super small, making you miss your mark every time. the numeric keypad is nice, and I like the fact that Logitech has software that lets me disable the INSERT key, since I always seem to hit it on accident.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Life of bulb off of cord is not very long. It didn't last but about 45 minutes. For the price of all of these hue things, you would think that they would put a battery in it that lasts at least a couple hours

If I run 3.5mm mini jack out from my Sony 900E TV to my older Onkyo stereo receiver do the ends that plug into my receiver have to be a red, yellow and white (separate) rca male cable ends?
The TV has an audio output chooser that will allow you to choose internal speakers or external source. I use optical and connect to a soundbar, but sometimes I will use Bluetooth headphones. Everything else is setup as normal, HDMI, no RCA. Hope this is what you are asking.

Will the Hue multicolor work with amazon echo?
It does work with Echo, but there's a cooler app that is better for the hue. It's called Cube AI for Hue. You can speak normally instead of having to be exact about what you say. You can tell it to set the lights to 70% brightness or tell it to dim the lights
