I needed to replace a lost phone and wanted as basic, stripped down a model as I could get. I was pleased to find a very simple one at Best Buy for only $19.95 plus screen breakage insurance (screens still break too easily) for $4.95. It is a very good value for the money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

does this phone come with any minutes already included?

also, how do I recharge the minutes?
They can add the minutes for you at the store, for most carriers. I use T-Mobile, which they didn't handle at the time, so they referred me to the local T-Mobile store.

The particular carrier will have instructions for adding more minutes. There's typically a phone number you can call to do this and pay using a credit card.
