Why is my fridge so noisy?
I have had my new fridge a week, but I've been on a trip most of the time. Now that I'm back, I've noticed how noisy it is -- unusually so. I can hear it all over my house and it's driving me batty. Is there anything that can be done... for example, insulation around the compressor or whatever, or pads on the bottom?
Mine is kinda loud too. I'll call for service to examine the unit.

If using in a garage w no ice maker, does it need to be hooked up to water to work?
I need this for extra perishable storage w extended use by dates from big box stores. If I don't need an ice maker in it, I need to be sure it doesn't need a water hookup for normal function of refrigerator/freezer as water is not easily available in garage.
Water source is not needed without an ice maker.

Hot surface indicator?
Does this range FFEF3050LS have a hot surface indicator or not? When I filter on the website for that feature this one comes up, but it says NO in the specs list. I have been going crazy trying to find all the features I want in both a fridge and oven. Stores do not have this on the floor. I see that it has the light indicating they are ON, but what about after the elements are turned off and they are still hot? Do they glow or is there a light? My last range was coil cooktop so this will be all new to me. Thanks.
Yes, my range has the hot element indicator on the left side.

Can a canner be used on this stovetop?
Some flat top ranges cannot be used with a large pressure cooker for canning. Can this one?
Yes, I have used a canner on mine.
