What's great about it: Smart TV features easy to use
What's not so great: Sound, as with most smart tvs
I got this for my 66 year old dad to have a tv in his room. He likes it and after I set it up for netflix he even uses the netflix without much trouble and he is not a tech person. They tried to sell me on a better refresh rate but I did not get it and as far as I am concerned the picture is pretty good. To be clear though my whole family needs glasses so we may not be the best reviewers when it comes to image quality. Like most flat screens the sound is not great without a bar. The only flat screen I have had with decent sound so far has been a vizio.
This product has... Useful Internet-enabled features, Easy to set up, Great value and features for the price, Right number of connections, Easy to use remote control
About me... Casual viewer, Love to stream movies, retired
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will the tv connect to the web without the use of a separate network adaptor

I also have a Panasonic Viera but we had to buy a separate adapter to connect to the web.... Is the Samsung the same story?
This tv has internal wifi, we have a BGN wifi router so it uses one of those without any other adapters you just set it up through the TV

what kind of screen does it have...matt or ? I'm concerned about glare.

The screen is matte and does not produce as much glare as most tvs I have had. That being said if you need wide viewing angles it does produce some.
