nighthawk x6 question
I currently have a suddenlink wireless modem. I wanted to replace the rented modem for something that would also support 3 smart tvs, 4 smart phones, 2 gaming systems, etc. I was told that this nighthawk x6 would replace the modem and have enough power to support everything. As I am getting ready to install it, I realize that I still need the rented modem. Is there another alternative to purchase something that will support all of the devices, or will I need to purchase a modem plus this router?
This is just a wireless router. You will also need a rented modem or purchase your own compatible modem.

Wired connection?
Will I be able to make a hard wired connection to my main computer or must I use wireless?
Sure! Just plug your network cable into the back of the router.

How many wireless connections can this router handle at one time?
I am running 5 so far with no problems. I am going to add probably 5 more devices, including security, locks, thermostats, tablets, and more.
