What's great about it: Great walk-in assistance
What's not so great: Nothing
In the purchase of two new computers with Windows 8.1, had to make several visits to the store where purchases were made for assistance in working with this new (to me) O.S.. One of the two computers had to be replaced with a new one-this was accomplished quickly, on the spot. GeekSquad has been extremely competent and helpful to work with.

May I buy geek squad protection plan for my TV even though I didn't purchase the TV at Best Buy?
My reactive answer is "no". Since u chose to do business elsewhere, then go there for support/service. Geek Squad protection is good and should be reserved to those who have not tried to save a couple bucks elsewhere.

I just bought an ASUS Transformer T-100 2GB mem 64GB ssd (Model: T100TA-C1-GR).

Have had Webroot on my Asus T-100 with Windows 8.1 for 4 wks. No apparent effect on computer performance. Have not checked how much disc. space it uses. Have installed several proprietary programs on it and it still accesses internet quickly and allows me to check email, attend on-air forums, etc.. at least as quickly as my desktop.
