Best Buy matched the Microcenter price for this device. I installed it in an Aspire One (Celeron) running Mint Linux. Off to Login screen is about 10 seconds. Similar to other SSD products in same style application with Linux. Note: Windows will not boot that fast. Anyway, this product runs as expected.

The reliability of drives by any manufacturer are suspect today and a drive this large for deep storage should make anyone nervous. This does run fast on 3.0 port for large video file transfer. This is used as a redundant drive to another brand. Does not run hot

The performance is as expected but the positive lock over the USB connector is great. Another brand I had just kept coming loose and exposed the connector.

What's great about it: Works better than expected
This a basic router that should work for most people in most homes by just connecting it properly. While doing this stuff is my job I find that this device should be easy enough to use by even the most tech-challenged Here is a tip: if you connect it and get it running and then it regularly fails-- it is defective and you should just return it and get a replacement. All these people that whine about this device obviously have a defective device. It happens. Deal with it by returning it for a refund or replacement. I was pleased with the reach of the device and how it worked consistenly with iPhones 4 and 5 and original iPad and 2 iPad mini and an older iMac and a PowerBook and my Linux laptop-- all able to steam YouTube at the same time with no lags .Not sure how much farther I could push it but ran eight YouTube sessions at once on devices located on two floors in a town home. Not sure what more you can expect for under $50
This product has... Reliable connection

Bring together your analog and digital music collection with this 2-channel Sony receiver. Its phono input lets you hook up a record player directly, and its Bluetooth capability allows convenient wireless streaming from compatible devices. This Sony receiver has a built-in power amplifier for clear, distortion-free sound, and the rigid chassis minimizes vibration.

Will this play music from Pandora or Spotify using my iPhone 6?

Yes. You will be able to link your phone (iPhone or Android) to the Sony using Bluetooth or a mini-pin cable via the headphone jack. The direct connection usually sounds better than Bluetooth-- but the Bluetooth connection on this Sony is the most easy-to-pair I have ever used.

CAN I USE IT WITH ACORN?

I do not see it on mine. You would need to 'cast from your android tablet to the device. Roku has Acorn.tv on it and that is what I use.

 Linksys - AC1200 Dual-Band WiFi 5 Router - Black
Linksys - AC1200 Dual-Band WiFi 5 Router - Black
Linksys AC1200 Dual-Band WiFi 5 Router: This router offers wireless speeds of up to 867Mbps so it can handle demanding tasks like video streaming and online gaming. The USB 3.0 port lets you connect a USB storage device and share files across your network.

What all is included in box?

What all do I need to set up this router, besides an internet connection? Do I use Ethernet wires to connect to the different components or HDMI cords? How many components can I hook into this model? This model is wired, is this good or bad? And what situations is wired best used? And lastly how many mbps will I need to run streaming movies on a 60" plasma tv, 2 computers, a bluray dvd, a speaker bar, and a Roku3.
Not really enough information to answer adequately. If you have cable Internet or fiber then you have enough Internet bandwidth. But if you have DSL from the phone company you will be slow regardless of what wired/wireless device you buy. To be sure I have found the Linksys/Cisco devices to be poor in any case. The AC function really only matters if your devices are AC. Most devices are N (of some nature) and even older devices are G. To make things more complicated older devices are 2.5 Ghs while new smart phones and tables are 5.0. While those will all work fine on an AC router you will NOT realize any of the numbers and throughput listed on the box. Please remember that all devices that can be connected to the Internet as wired (Ethernet cables) should be. Wired connections are always faster and more reliable and less prone to slowdown based on the number of wireless devices in the room. My rule of thumb is that all printers and desktop computers (laptops if possible) and TVs/streaming boxes are wire connected. Only smartphones and tablets should be using your wifi

I need an auto detect modem/router combo with exterior antennas that will work with centurylink. Will this one do that?

A phone tech suggested I get this so we could have service extended from our house to a guest house. At the moment wifi doesn't even go into our master bedroom and the tech said due to interference with TV on outside bedroom wall.
This is a difficult question with not enough information. If you currently have a phone-company modem-router-wireless device then the signal is pretty weak and most of the default devices are cr*p. You may be able to simply connect this/any wireless device directly to the phone company modem (turn off the phone company wireless) and the new wireless router may reach farther. I cannot speak to that model. That said some wireless routers allow for larger/longer antenna(s) to be attached and length-does-matter. (Microcenter sells large antenna for like $10) Another alternative is to set up the new wireless router as a repeater which simple extends the original wifi signal from the phone company modem-router-wireless. Compatibility for repeaters is unlikely. It is a challenge just get two like devices from the same maker to work and in most cases that is above the pay grade (difficulty) for a regular user. Some of the $250 plus devices from Netgear (Nighthawk line) and ASUS have beam-forming with multiple antenna. Normally I am loathe to endorse such bleeding-edge tech but I will admit the Nighthawk routers have great reach and I have installed about two dozen for various clients. I bet this does not help you at all.

Do I have to have internet to use this wireless router?

No but with Internet access you would not really need any router. Just specify static IP addresses for your devices using a plain old $10 switch.

I have backed up a defective linksys router with the backup configuration it had. Will it import correctly into a new linksys router?

I think if the router model, version AND firmware are the same then the answer is probably yes. However if the router model numbers and/or the firmware is different then it is hard to tell. Even routers of the same model number (especially consumer Linksys and Netgear) are not always the same firmware or registers. A potentially good indicator is looking at the WW-DRT database (https://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database) and you may see different versions of your router model and you will notice than in some cases a different version of WW-DRT is used-- in fact some versions of the same model CANNOT run WW-DRT.
