Was easily installed and set up. Great picture and easy to use. For use in a bed room the sound quality is perfect. A back lighted remote would enhance the use at night.

I have a Samsung TV, Polk Audio sound bar (that works great) and a Time Warner box on this controller.
You are going to have to read just a little and hook it up to your computer to program it. But once that is done and you practice a little bit it works just fine. Everyone wants something that is PNP, but with all the different mfgs it ain't gonna happen! Ergonomics of it are also fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid, well built and easy to put together. Comes with extra hardware and excellent instructions. Takes an hour to pre-fab the pieces with hardware and another 1/2 hour to assemble with extra hands. I was impressed with the quality!

Does this remote's capability with several TV and DVD or VCR brands?

Does it handle different brands? Yes! I have three different units hooked up to mine. Samsung TV, Polk Audio Soundbar & Time Warner cable box. Will run each one individually and turn all three off at once. You have to plug remote it into your computer with a USB cable and program it. Make sure you reboot your computer after loading the program for the software to load correctly.

I bought the Harmony 650, the cable to the remote, kept disconnecting from the sync process, was able to add 3 devices to the remote for the TV but got 99% synced for the Dish Joey but wouldn't finish, is this a cable problem or a remote problem.. HELP

Reboot your computer with the unit plugged in. Did the same thing to me and the original program did not load completely till you re-boot.
