This is an excellent washer, in several ways superior to the last several years' models. This is our third SamSung washer. We had troubles with the previous two, although they worked perfectly until they had problems completing the spin cycle. SamSung honored the warranties completely, replacing the washers. We were happy to purchase this one and are amazed at how well it cleans stains and heavy soiling.
I would recommend this to a friend!

spin speed

Is the spin speed slower for the delicate cycle?
Yes, the delicate cycle's pre-set spin speed is "low". It may be adjusted to "no-spin" or "medium", and that selection will then become the pre-setting for the next delicate load you wash. This washer is almost infinitely adjustable for spin speed, water temperature, clothing type, etc., etc.

Very good value on a high end product.
