I bought this to listen to baseball games at the ballpark. Although sometimes the reception is scratchy, by and large it works well for my purposes. The digital display is so much easier than a dial tuner.

Can this radio use ear buds instead of head phones

I have not used the head phones that came with the product. I am using ear buds because they are more compact.
