This PNY 8GB USB Drive is very affordable ($4.99) and very reliable to use. I loaded 12 Hi-Def Quicktime videos onto it and they all play perfectly right from the USB drive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

what's the best product to use for backing up your computer

Either a Sandisk USB Drive or a PNY USB Drive. Both work well. The Sandisk is usually a little more expensive than the PNY but both work fine.
