I don't think the Best salesperson that waited on me knew the different type of speaker systems that they carried. I told him what Brand and Model of PC that I had and that I wanted to get an external speaker system for it. And his answer was this product should work. I should ended up going to MicroCenter and got a Logtech set of speakers that worked perfectly. With the proper help from their salesperson.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

do u sell DVD players already with HD or do i have to buy and HDMI cable?
I'm looking at your Sony DVD Players.
It comes with yellow (video), red & white (audio) cables. It does have an HDMI output jack on back of player if you want to use a HDMI cable (not included). It will play both regular and blue ray dvds.

Only one. It will play a regular or blue ray dvd.
