Many nice features normally found in the more elaborate smartwatches. Pedometer is nice. Everyone who has noticed it loves it, including FitBit owners (what I was looking for when we ended up buying this)

This keyboard brings near-notebook functionality and convenience to the Tab/Note.
It charges using the same cable as the Tab, and it has its own power switch, but it also has a button on the keyboard that shuts it off when not in use and the tablet is snapped in face-down, so this really is a fire and forget device.
Battery life is very good, it does not need to be charged every day. Bluetooth connection is quick and transparent.
The only thing that cost the 5th star is there is not a convenient way to flip the tablet over and snap it into the keyboard to maintain the "single unit" convenience if use of the keyboard is not desired or convenient..

The display is very nice, much easier to use for many apps than the smaller screens on the phones.
It is a bit heavy, but is much more convenient than a notebook.
The new design has moved the USB charging port from the bottom to the side, so it can be plugged in while in a portfolio case or used with a keyboard. This was always a sore spot with my Tab 3 10"

What's great about it: Convenient, good battery life, standard strap
What's not so great: Limited functionality and apps, apps limited to Samsung Store
Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I find that I use the camera more often than the phone camera for quick shots, though one must take care to ensure the window remains free of "finger grease" or the image will be blurry.
When an email comes in (from any account the phone is configured for), you get the notification and can view a preview. Photos do not display, but all of the text is there. You can not reply to an email from the watch.
When an text message comes in, you get the notification and can view the message. Again, photos do not display, but all of the text is there. You can reply to text messages using pre-configured templates. The Galaxy Gear app comes with some basic templates, but you can add whatever you'd like.
You can also use the text templates to respond to phone calls that you decide to not answer... simply swipe "ignore" and then if you'd like, send a template message, such as "I'm in a meeting" or "I'm driving"
The watch has a speakerphone built in, but use of the speaker (for phone or music) really hammers the battery.
The watch has limited memory for music, but the speaker quality just isn't "there" and given that you are going to have your smartphone with you, I don't see the need to duplicate the music player in the watch.

There are precious few apps available, and functionality is not 100%. I was happy to see clock face apps available that had a second hand, but upon using them, I found that my battery life was horrible, and the display would revert to the basic Samsung screen at least once a day. I just leave it at the clock/weather screen now.
Another 3rd party app that I find very useful allows you to toggle various functions on the phone, such as very easily mute it for a movie, nice dinner, or a meeting (the watch will still vibrate), and the "sleep monitoring" mode, while it only logs the time it was in sleep mode and the watch motionless, when it is in sleep mode it puts the watch into block mode so it does not vibrate or light up the screen when an email or text comes in... it does activate when your alarm goes off, and as a lazy bum who frequently hits the snooze button or sleeps through his alarm, this watch has done a very good job of getting me out of bed at 4:30.
Battery life, when running the standard clock face, is as advertised. Samsung claims 3 days, and I've done 3 days a couple of times now that the "newness" has worn off, but in general, I charge it every evening, though most evenings it is well above 50% when I connect it.

Preloaded apps include the IR remote control also found in Samsung phones and tablets. I have not configured or tested it, as I use the Harmony remote.

Will I be able to watch video content online?
I see that this tablet is not Adobe Flash compatible. I watch a lot of videos of tv shows online, both domestic and from overseas. Will I be able to view my videos on this tablet?
No Android device is flash-compatible.
Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, and most other streaming content providers have released Android-native versions that work well, and some are bundled with the device.

Is the micro USB cable included with this?
The keyboard charges from the same USB adapter and USB-A to Micro-B Superspeed that works with the newer tablets and Galaxy S5.
It will also charge from a standard Micro-USB
The charger and cable are *not* included with the keyboard, but battery life is far, far better than the tablet. You can charge the keyboard for a couple of hours and use it for several days without a problem. It does not need to be plugged in as the tablet would be for continued use.
Other than for charging, there is no other use for the USB port on the keyboard.

Yes and no.
It records "sleep" as from the time you activate until you deactivate.
It then displays "Motionless" for the time the motion sensor was not detecting motion.
This morning, I forgot to turn off "sleep mode" when I got up and I ended up with "sleep" for 14 hours and "motionless" for 82% of that.

What exactly are the specifications of "water resistant?"
You can wear it in the shower, and weather is not a concern.

How accurate is the heart rate monitor and step tracker?
I am really looking for a device that tells the time, tracks my steps, and heart rate. Would you consider this product pretty accurate when it comes to those features?

The HR monitor is "okay" at best.
It will not continuously track your HR, it is simply a "stop and remain calm" while you activate and wait for the reading, much like a DIY blood pressure cuff. It is not the same as the typical fitness monitors with a chest strap that provide a continuous readout.
There are much better products for those looking for something geared more toward fitness. I can not comment on the Galaxy Gear Fit.
