Bought this product to see if we could save a little electricity using our Fios system. So far so good, tho you have to be patient... It turns off the Fios box when you turn off the TV and it takes a bit to restart things when you turn the TV back on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this flash drive - fast and solid. I just wish it had a better way to connect to a lanyard than what they provide. Has plenty of space to create bootable partitions for all the various versions of OSX plus some space left over.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why are master controlled devices not turning off?

When my master device (computer) shuts down, the power strip just makes a clicking sound, but does not power off devices. (energy savings switch is ON)
Sounds like you have a defective unit. I'd take it back for a new one.

1-reviews claim has a red led that lights up during activity- mine doesn't. 2-it was supposed to be formated as exFat...mine is Fat 32

I just bought a PNY Turbo 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive - P-FD128TBOP-GE. according to reviews and other owners it has a red LED under the PNY sleeve that light up when active. Mine doesn't.
It's supposed to be formatted as exFat, mine is formatted as Fat 32
It's not what I thought I was buying.
Try reformatting it and see if that doesn't take care of it. If you can save files to the flash drive and SEE the files on the drive, then I wouldn't worry about the light. That said, if you're unhappy with it, I believe you can just return it or trade at BB for a new one. All these flash drives unless otherwise marked are going to be formatted for Windows. But its easy to reformat to whatever you need...
